The Launch Pad
A 6-month post-graduate initiative that supports alumni to establish a career in tech. This initiative is designed to help alumni identify unique career opportunities while providing them with the resources and tools they need to confidently enter the workforce.

Members of the codeHiveX program receive robust coaching on technical and non-technical support. These sessions help with long-term career planning, identifying, and achieving their professional goals and potential.

AkiraChix ensures that the young women in the codeHiveX program have the tools and support to not only have a prosperous career but engage with the world at the highest levels. We offer niche courses for a period of 6 weeks e.g DAS, Devops etc. which are informed by the coaching sessions and industry trends. This ensures that their skills match job-market demand.
Upskilling
Community
Community is a significant component of life at AkiraChix. Doing for others is something that all AkiraChix students and alumni have in common. Through the honor system, the alumni get the opportunity to give back and extend a helping hand to another sister and the community. They also get the opportunity to interact with their alma mater through school and community events

codeHiveX Launch Kenya
codeHiveX was piloted in 2021 and officially launched in 2023. Through codeHiveX, we have established a support system for alumni to nurture their talent, take on additional responsibilities, and access more meaningful work. Even more promising is that codeHiveX is not only paving way for the young women in the program but also transforming the tech industry.

Expanding Impact To Our Neighbors
We came together, got a few essential items and decided it would be amazing to run a donation drive and create happiness amongst children at Agape Hopes School and Dreams Children Home The experience of bringing these children joy was more than amazing. We cannot describe the joy in the children’s faces when we arrived. There will definitely be more drives like this in the future and we can’t wait <br>
