This past week, we hosted teens between the ages of 12 and 18 for Dev Skwäd. They worked in groups, creating engaging robotics projects. This camp was focussed on combining mechanical, electrical and software engineering to design, assemble, and program a robot using Arduino. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for anyone making interactive projects.
Equipped with their natural ability to experiment and explore, the students enjoyed hands-on, authentic activities where they got to test hypotheses, be creative and even take gambles.
The final student creations were displayed by the students at a show and tell presentation on the last day of camp for all the parents to experience!
